It is FREE to Register
Signing up with Membership Toolkit is NOT the same as joining the PTA.
Returning Students: It is very important that all communications lists are accurate and up to date for the new school year. Please remember that you must re-register each year. Be sure to update your account with your current teacher’s name so you don’t miss any important information.
On our site, you can view upcoming calendar events, contribute to fundraisers, sign up to volunteer, and much more. Because the PTA is such an integral part of Jim Thorpe's events and programs, registering ensures you stay connected and informed.
Membership Toolkit is the service that empowers us to make purchases, complete paperwork, and coordinate our volunteer efforts — all online. The goal is to save time, and work together more smoothly!
Signing up with Membership Toolkit is not the same as joining the PTA.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Jim Thorpe Fundamental School PTA Website
Why should I register on the Jim Thorpe Fundamental School PTA Website?
https://thorpepta.membershiptoolkit.com/home is the website for the Jim Thorpe Fundamental School PTA. The platform is called Membership Toolkit. This system allows you to sign up for volunteer opportunities, join the PTA, order spirit wear, make a donation, and more – in just a few simple online steps and without the PTA paperwork and check writing that used to consume your time at the beginning of the school year.
I don’t know the name of my child’s teacher yet. Can I still register?
Yes! We hope you’ll go online and create an account right away. Go to https://thorpepta.membershiptoolkit.com/Open_Forms and click on register. Once you receive your child’s teacher assignment, just log back in and add that information next to your student’s name.
Should my spouse/partner have a separate account? What if we want separate accounts?
When possible, we recommend creating a single account so that all information including volunteer signs ups, completed forms and purchases, and directory information is stored in one place. When a primary user creates an account, there is a space to invite other email addresses to access the account. This secondary user will have his or her own login information but also have access to the family account, be listed in the directory and receive communications from your child’s teacher, room parents and the PTA. Both adults on the account will be able to sign up for volunteer opportunities, make purchases and complete forms for that student. Only two adults can be listed on one Membership Toolkit account.
For divorced or separated families, one family record can list two separate address and contact details – or each adult can register individually. Note that if you do register individually, there may be some forms such as the PTA membership form that everyone will have to complete in order to have full access to the site.
Scenario #1 - Parent #1 Creates an Account and Parent #2 Does NOT Previously Have An Account With Your Organization
When Parent #1 creates the Membership Toolkit account he/she has the option of providing information for the second parent. If he/she creates his/her account and lists a second parent with an email address, the second parent will be able to log in, verify his/her email address, and be connected to the original Membership Toolkit account already created by Parent #1.
If Parent #2 has a Membership Toolkit account with another organization, he/she will not need to verify his email address.
Scenario #2 - Parent #1 Creates an Account and Parent #2 Already Has An Account With Your Organization
If both parents already have accounts with your organization, they can choose to use one account moving forward. The parent that has the account that will be the one that will be used moving forward will need to "invite" parent #2 to join his/her account. The original account created by Parent #2 will become inactive.
To invite Parent #2 to join the account for Parent #1:
- Parent #1 should select their Membership Toolkit account information by clicking on their name in the login box. This will either be found at the very top or very bottom of your screen. You can also go to My Account on the Main Navigation and select "Update My Account"from the drop down menu.
- Choose the Access tab. Complete the information to "Link Other Emails to this Account." (Email Address, YOUR Password, and whether they are a Student or Profile Owner)
- Parent #2 will need to click on the link in the email they will receive. This link will expire 7 days after it has been sent.
- Both email addresses will now be presented as having access to the account.
What if my child has more than 2 adults who want access to https://thorpepta.membershiptoolkit.com Website?
Membership Toolkit only allows two adults per account, however multiple accounts can be linked to the same student. For families where more than two adults want to access the Website, you can create separate accounts. Note that if you create separate accounts, there may be some forms such as the PTA membership form that someone from each account will have to complete in order to have full access to the site.
Where can I find the PTA forms that used to be in my child’s back to school packet?
You’ll be able to purchase PTA memberships, order t-shirts and spirit wear, make a donation, sign up for volunteer opportunities, and more on our website. Just create an account on My Forms.
I changed my email address. How do I update my Membership Toolkit login?
To update your email address, log in to Jim Thorpe Fundamental School PTA and go to your Account Profile by clicking on your name in the Login Box. Select the Access tab and complete the information in the "Invite Others" section to invite another email address to access to your Account Profile. This is where you will put your new email address, but be sure to use your current password. Then, click "send invite” to receive an email at your new email address. Just click on the link in that email to confirm your new email address then you will be directed to select a password for your new email address. You can go back and delete your original email address by logging in with your new email address, going to your Account Profile once again, and removing the old login email address from the record.
How can I change my password?
There are two ways to change your password –
- If you are logged in to Jim Thorpe Fundamental School PTA Website , click on your name in the Login Box at the top of your screen. This will take you to the Profile Menu where you can manage most everything about your account, including changing your password.
- If you can’t remember your password, click on “I forgot my password” from the login page. The system will ask you to enter your email address and will send an email with a URL link to reset your password.
Is there a mobile app for my phone?
The Membership Toolkit App is available for free in the Apple Store and in Google Play. Just search for “MembershipToolkit” and look for the Membership Toolkit icon. Once you download the app, you’ll have access to our student directory and PTA calendar. You’ll also be able to make purchases, sign up for volunteer opportunities, and complete forms.
If you are a first time user or an inactive user you must create or update your account through the website. If you log in and see an error message "no organizations available" or you do not see an organization that you should, you need to go to that organization's Membership Toolkit website on your browser and first log in through the browser.
